Dreame H14 Dual vs. Roborock Dyad Pro Combo: Comparing the Best Wet/Dry Vacuum Cleaners of 2024

In this review, I decided to compare, in my opinion, the best washing upright vacuum cleaners of 2024: new Dreame H14 Dual And Roborock Dyad Pro Combo, which was released back in 2023, but is still successfully competing in 2024. These cordless vacuum cleaners are very similar: both boast an additional set of dry cleaning attachments, advanced functionality, and, most importantly, high-quality performance at their primary task – cleaning floors. So, below, I'll compare all the components, specifications, features, and test results in detail, after which I'll express my opinion on which upright wet vacuum cleaner is better. So, let's get started!
Price
First, let's compare the prices of competing vacuum cleaners. The new Dreame H14 Dual costs between $600 and $650.
The price of Roborock Dyad Pro Combo is between $460-600.
Here we see that Roborock is still slightly more cost-effective, especially when compared to the lower price point. Both options come with an official warranty from the brand.
Equipment
It's important to consider what's included for the price. Roborock's package includes the vacuum cleaner itself, a base with holders for additional attachments, a dust bag, a crevice tool, an upholstery tool, an extension tube, a floor tool, a power adapter, a cleaning tool, a spare HEPA filter, and a Russian-language instruction manual.
The Dreame's package is a bit more interesting, including a vacuum cleaner with a base and accessory holder, the same additional attachments, a cleaning tool, a spare roller, a spare HEPA filter, a bottle of detergent, and an instruction manual translated into Russian.
Design and functions
Now let's compare the design of wet/dry vacuum cleaners. They operate identically. The cleaning module is located at the bottom, with clean and dirty water tanks above it. Controls are via buttons on the handle. The main unit detaches, and the dust collector and additional attachments attach to it. But what are the differences? And there are quite a few.
Let's start with the cleaning module. The Dreame H14 Dual has a single roller extending to the edge of the body on both sides. The Roborock Dyad Pro Combo has a more interesting cleaning module, featuring three rollers. Two rollers are installed at the front, each extending right up to the edge of the body. Behind them is a single roller extending almost the entire width of the body.
The Dreame H14 Dual has a front LED light to detect debris on the floor, which is especially helpful in low-lit areas.
Behind the roller, Dreame has a comb for detangling tangled hair and fur.
Roborock doesn't have a comb.
I'd also like to add that the Dreame H14 Dual is equipped with wheels with motorized steering. This makes the vacuum cleaner easier to control; it literally glides across the surface.
The Roborock has a small reservoir on top of the cleaning module that automatically mixes detergent into clean water. The Dreame also has one, but it's located higher up, above the clean water tank.
The water tanks differ slightly in capacity. The Roborock Dyad Pro Combo has an 880 ml clean water tank and a 770 ml dirty water tank. The Dreame H14 Dual has a 900 ml clean water tank and a 650 ml dirty water tank. The filtration system is the same: a HEPA filter with a mesh and a coarse filter.
It's worth adding that the Dreame H14 Dual's clean water tank has a built-in electrolytic water sterilization module, which disinfects water and kills various viruses.
As for controls, both models feature control buttons on the handle, and all information is displayed on the display. The Dreame H14 Dual has four main operating modes: automatic, disinfection mode, suction mode, and a custom mode, which can be configured in the app. The Roborock Dyad Pro Combo also has four operating modes: automatic, maximum, floor drying or liquid suction mode, and a light damp cleaning mode, also known as an economical mode.
Both vacuum cleaners are capable of automatically adjusting suction power depending on the degree of floor contamination.
A key advantage of the Dreame H14 Dual compared to the Roborock is its tilt angle. The Dreame can be tilted completely horizontally for cleaning under furniture. The Roborock Dyad Pro Combo has a tilt angle of approximately 140 degrees.
I'd also like to add that both the Dreame H14 Dual and the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo are controlled via a proprietary mobile app, which allows you to flexibly customize cleaning parameters.
As mentioned earlier, the vacuum cleaners being compared boast the ability to be converted into a dry cleaning vacuum cleaner.
The principle is the same. The main unit is detachable, and the dust bag with the desired attachment is attached.
The set of attachments is identical.
The dust collector also has a filtration system: a HEPA filter, foam, and a mesh. The only difference is the main floor nozzle. Roborock's is fixed, and the roller can't be removed and cleaned separately. This is inconvenient. Dreame's roller is removable, and there's a detangling comb behind the roller. Plus, the nozzle is equipped with a light, which is another plus.
As for the stations, both washing vacuum cleaners are charged on them, self-clean, and dry the roller with warm air.
The Dreame H14 Dual is superior in that it self-cleans with hot water and also features a quick 30-minute roller drying time. Roborock's minimum drying time is 1 hour.
Technical specifications
Of course, it's important to compare the specifications of the Dreame H14 Dual and Roborock Dyad Pro Combo wet/dry vacuum cleaners. I've included them in a table for easy reference:
| Dreame H14 Dual | Roborock Dyad Pro Combo | |
| Battery | Li-Ion, 4900 mAh
|
No data |
| Power consumption | 380 W | 260 W |
| Suction power | up to 18000 Pa | up to 17000 Pa |
| Opening hours | up to 40 / up to 70 min | up to 43 / up to 60 min |
| Clean water tank | 880 ml | 950 ml |
| Dirty water tank | 650 ml | 770 ml |
| Dust collector | No data | 465 ml |
| Roller self-cleaning temperature | 60 degrees

| Noise level
|
72-86 dB | 71-81 dB |
| Weight | 6 kg / 2.9 kg | 5.5 kg / 2.7 kg |
Here we see that the Dreame is more powerful and has a higher self-cleaning temperature, as well as a higher roller drying temperature. The Roborock has a larger water tank, is slightly quieter, and is lighter. It's a matter of personal preference.
Test results
And just as importantly, it's important to compare the Dreame H14 Dual and Roborock Dyad Pro Combo in action. A detailed video review with all the tests has already been prepared and published on the channel:
For me, the key factor here is how quickly it removes tough stains. The Roborock completed the task in 4 minutes. I used only clean water, as there was no detergent included. The Dreame H14 Dual completed the same task in 6 minutes, but I added detergent to the clean water, as it was included. In any case, the Roborock is more effective at removing stains, that's for sure. This is probably due to its three-roller cleaning module.
Another important point that was tested was the blind spot between the roller edge and the baseboard. The Roborock Dyad Pro Combo doesn't have this; its rollers extend right up to the edge of the body on both sides, which is a key advantage of the vacuum cleaner. The Dreame H14 Dual has a blind spot of 5 mm. The difference is actually small, and you're unlikely to notice it in everyday life, but it's there nonetheless.
In everyday life, I didn’t notice any difference between the vacuum cleaners in terms of floor cleaning.
I preferred the Dreame's self-cleaning performance, as it has a simpler roller attachment system and a comb. Overall, both wet/dry vacuum cleaners do a good job of both self-cleaning and drying the roller.
I also compared the vacuum cleaners' dry cleaning performance. In terms of power, the Dreame H14 Dual cleaned crevices on the stand more quickly and thoroughly, including those 35 mm deep. The Roborock Dyad Pro Combo has noticeably weaker suction, but to be fair, it also cleaned debris from all crevices, albeit in a spotty manner. So, in my opinion, the Dreame is truly more powerful, judging by its stated specifications and comparing it with the results of this test.
Both vacuum cleaners have a similar problem when picking up debris on hard surfaces: they struggle to pick up large debris, such as granules, because the nozzles lack special grooves for large debris to pass through. This is important to consider.
But both vacuum cleaners do a good job of cleaning carpets.
I also tested the battery life of the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo and Dreame H14 Dual separately at maximum power with the floor nozzle attached. The Dreame lasted 30 minutes 30 seconds, while the Roborock lasted 36 minutes 7 seconds. The results are better, but we need to account for the Dreame's higher power.
Personal opinion
So what's the bottom line? In the end, I can say that the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo and Dreame H14 Dual are actually very similar in both design and cleaning performance. There are some differences, some of which may seem significant to many, so I've compiled a final table comparing all the points I discovered during testing:
| Dreame H14 Dual | Roborock Dyad Pro Combo | |
| Price | $600-$650 | $460-$600 |
| Consumables included | Spare roller, spare HEPA filter, bottle of detergent | Replacement HEPA filter |
| Power consumption | 380 W | 260 W |

We see that the Dreame H14 Dual is better equipped, more powerful, has a higher self-cleaning and drying temperature, a better tilt angle, illuminates the cleaning area, has a more convenient floor nozzle, a multi-stage antibacterial protection system, and electric motors in the wheels. The Roborock Dyad Pro Combo is slightly more affordable, has a longer runtime, is slightly lighter and quieter, removes stains more effectively, and has no blind spot.
So, I finally decided that the Roborck was the superior wet/dry vacuum cleaner. You're unlikely to notice the difference in everyday use, but it's definitely there.
But in terms of overall impressions of the product, I found the Dreame H14 Dual to be more user-friendly, better designed, and the cleaning module itself easier to maintain. And overall, it's more modern in terms of technology, as it incorporates all the latest innovations popular in 2024.
So, it's up to you to decide which wet/dry vacuum cleaner is best based on the comparison results. I'd love to hear your opinions in the comments.
Thank you all for your attention! Happy shopping. Bye!
