Comparison of Roborock Flexi Pro and Dreame H13 Pro: Which is the better wet/dry vacuum cleaner?

In this review, I decided to compare two top washing vacuum cleaners released in 2024 - new products Roborock Flexi Pro And Dreame H13 ProBoth upright vacuum cleaners are in the same price range and boast innovative floor cleaning approaches and advanced designs compared to their competitors. So, below, I'll show you the differences between these vacuum cleaners and which one is better. So, let's get started!
Price
Let's start with a price comparison. The Roborock Flexi Pro costs between $500 and $750, depending on discounts. The average price is still around $600.
The Dreame H13 Pro is roughly the same price, ranging from $550 to $600. At the time of this comparison, the official website lists it for $550.
So, in terms of price, the vacuum cleaners can be said to be the same.
Equipment
It's equally important to compare what's included for the price. The only interesting thing about the Roborock Flexi Pro is the spare HEPA filter.
The Dreame H13 Pro comes with a spare roller, a spare HEPA filter, and even a bottle of the brand's cleaning solution.
Dreame has an obvious advantage here!
Design and functions
Now let's compare the design of wet/dry vacuum cleaners. They operate identically. The cleaning module is located at the bottom, with a roller-based cleaning module, and above it are tanks for clean and dirty water. Control is via buttons on the handle. But what are the differences? And there are quite a few.
Let's start with the cleaning module. Both have a single roller that extends out to the edge of the housing on both sides.
Both the Roborock Flexi Pro and Dreame H13 Pro have LED lights on the front to help detect debris on the floor, which is especially helpful in low-lit areas.
In both cases, the roller is held in place by a special holder. Behind it are a scraper, a suction port, and a comb for untangling the roller from tangled hair and fur.
Interestingly, both Roborock and Dreame are equipped with wheels containing motors for steering. This makes the vacuum cleaners easier to control, as they literally glide over surfaces.
The water tanks differ slightly in capacity. The Roborock Flexi Pro has a 730 ml clean water tank and a 450 ml dirty water tank. The Dreame H13 Pro has a 900 ml clean water tank and a 700 ml dirty water tank. This means the tanks are larger, which is another difference and a plus for the Dreame. The filtration system is the same: a HEPA filter with a mesh and a coarse filter.
Controls. Both models feature control buttons on the handle, and all information is displayed on the screen. The Dreame H13 Pro has four main operating modes: automatic, turbo, pre-disinfection mode, and suction mode. In automatic mode, the vacuum cleaner automatically adjusts suction power depending on how dirty the floor is. The Roborock Flexi Pro has three operating modes: economical, automatic, and maximum. In automatic mode, the vacuum cleaner also automatically adjusts suction power when it detects dirt.
I'd also like to add a key advantage of the Roborock over the Dreame: it supports control via a proprietary mobile app, which lets you adjust the wheel steering level, suction power, the degree of wetting of the roller, and even its rotation speed. You can also customize the self-cleaning station, specifically selecting the self-cleaning mode, the water temperature for cleaning the roller, and the drying speed. Overall, the app is truly useful and convenient.
Another significant design advantage of the Roborock Flexi Pro over the Dreame H13 Pro is its tilt angle. The Roborock can be tilted completely horizontally to clean under furniture, while the Dreame H13 Pro has a tilt angle of approximately 140 degrees.
Speaking of bases, both vacuum cleaners charge on them, self-clean, wash their cloths with hot water, and dry them with warm air. Everything is practically identical here.
Technical specifications
Of course, it's important to compare the specifications of the Roborock Flexi Pro and Dreame H13 Pro vacuum cleaners. I've included them in a table for easy reference:
| Roborock Flexi Pro | Dreame H13 Pro | |
| Battery | Li-Ion, 4000 mAh | Li-Ion, 4900 mAh |
| Additional accessories included | HEPA filter | HEPA filter, roller, detergent |
| Power consumption | 260 W | 300 W |
| Suction power | up to 17000 Pa | up to 18,000 Pa |
| Opening hours | up to 50 minutes | up to 45 minutes |
| Clean water tank | 730 ml | 900 ml |
| Dirty water tank | 450 ml | 700 ml |
| Roller self-cleaning temperature | 60 degrees | 60 degrees |
| Roller drying temperature | 55 degrees | 60 degrees |
| Noise level | 72-74 dB | 73-75 dB |
We see that the Dreame H13 Pro is still slightly better in most respects, albeit only slightly. It's also slightly better than the Roborock Flexi Pro in some areas.
Test results
And equally important, it's important to compare the Roborock Flexi Pro and Dreame H13 Pro in action. The video review, already published on the channel, clearly shows the test results:
The key indicator here is the speed at which it removes tough stains. The Roborock completed the task in 5.5 minutes. I used only clean water, as there was no detergent included. The Dreame H13 Pro completed the same task in 6 minutes, but I added detergent to the clean water, as it was included. In any case, in my opinion, both wet/dry vacuum cleaners performed about equally well.
Another important point that was tested was the blind spot between the edge of the roller and the baseboard. For the Roborock Flexi Pro, it's about 8 mm, while for the Dreame H13 Pro, it's 5 mm. The difference is actually small and unlikely to be noticeable in everyday life, but it's there nonetheless.
In my everyday life, I didn't notice any difference between the vacuum cleaners in terms of floor cleaning. In terms of debris collection, the Dreame H13 Pro seemed to be better at picking up larger particles, such as litter granules. The Roborock Flexi Pro performed worse in this regard.
Self-cleaning performance is roughly the same. Both wet/dry vacuum cleaners do a good job of both self-cleaning and drying the roller.
Personal opinion
So what's the bottom line? In the end, I can say that the Roborock Flexi Pro and Dreame H13 Pro are actually very similar in both design and cleaning performance. There are some differences, some of which may seem significant to many, so I've compiled a final table comparing all the points I discovered during testing:
| Roborock Flexi Pro | Dreame H13 Pro | |
| Price | $500-$750. Average $600. | $550-$600. Average $550. |
| Battery | Li-Ion, 4000 mAh | Li-Ion, 4900 mAh |
| Power consumption | 260 W | 300 W |
| Suction power | up to 17000 Pa | up to 18,000 Pa |
| Opening hours | up to 50 minutes | up to 45 minutes |
| Clean water tank | 730 ml | 900 ml |
| Dirty water tank | 450 ml | 700 ml |
| Roller self-cleaning temperature | 60 degrees | 60 degrees |
| Angle of inclination | 180 degrees | ≈140 degrees |
| Speed of removing difficult stains | ≈5:30 minutes, without detergent | ≈6 minutes, with detergent |
| Blind spot | 8 mm | 5 mm |
| Floor cleaning quality | High | High |
| Garbage collection | There are problems with collecting large debris (filler granules) | No problems are observed |
| Built-in voice alerts | Yes, in Russian | Yes, in Russian |
| Operating modes | Economical, automatic and maximum | Automatic, Turbo, water pre-disinfection mode and suction mode |
| Illumination of the cleaning area | Yes | Yes |
| Additional features | Setting up parameters in the application | Disinfection of clean water in the tank |
| Discovered deficiencies (additional) | In the horizontal position, the suction is turned off, there is no liquid suction mode | There is no way to regulate the water supply level |
Ultimately, I can say that, for me, the difference between the Roborock Flexi Pro and the Dreame H13 Pro is minimal. The Roborock is definitely better because it can clean floors horizontally and offers flexible settings in the app. However, due to its size, this vacuum cleaner only fits under 15 cm of clearance. So, I'm not sure this design feature will be particularly useful in everyday life. At least, I didn't find any such areas in my apartment. Usually, there's 10 cm of clearance under furniture. However, I actually liked the app settings and found them convenient.
In turn, the Dreame has better equipment, slightly higher suction power, a smaller blind spot, a larger water tank, and a function for sterilizing water in the tank.
Therefore, it seems to me that the Dreame H13 Pro beats the Roborock Flexi Pro in this comparison by a very small margin.

But, I repeat, the difference between the vacuum cleaners is minimal and in reality they are on the same level in terms of floor cleaning quality, and that is the most important thing.
Whichever vacuum cleaner you choose, it will definitely leave a positive impression and will be a good helper in your home.
On that note, I'd like to conclude this comparison. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments. Happy shopping, everyone. Bye!
